ATS teased on Facebook that they're doing the course building, no real surprise there.
In other news:
I believe this is another Japanese Competitor

I don't recognize anyone, and I have to wonder if this is because of the Network exclusivity rule most networks (including NBC: Geoff confirmed this earlier when he said he couldn't do The Amazing Race) have for their Reality TV contestants. I guess we'll be seeing new faces for the US team

I really hope this does well. Great to see Yuuji got on the show, hope he does well. Getting someone like Silva legitimizes it knowing there's a proper celebrity athlete who supports it.

The person in the first picture with Yuuji is the Japanese host of the show, an AKB48 member, Sayaka Akimoto.

I never heard of this event by Netflix until now, I'm really hyped about this and how Yuuji does! Wonder if there's gonna be any SASUKE type obstacles. =)

Wonder if there's gonna be any SASUKE type obstacles. =) ATS is working on it, They're the same team who NBC hired for ANW since ANW4 and has gone on to do the international spinoffs, maybe not Sasuke specific but seems plausible for ninja obstacles from the world leader* of them *I mean in terms of number of series worked on and most worldwide use, don't send me hatemail over saying the team that does ANW and other spinoffs as being world leaders

Yes that's my point, I don't want people spinning my words the wrong way when I was referencing how things are actually going

I still see those remaining Wipeout pools... See I'm more surprised that path at the end of the big balls was actually part of the pool and remained as part of the abandoned pools

I mean I wouldn't blame you for not knowing, they kinda just quietly canceled it in the off season a year or two ago because of low ratings

I don't remember when I started watching it... But yeah. Shame to see the place abandoned save for this.

I found this picture here: www.google.com/maps/contrib/107858833270703144643/photos/@34.378073 (one called Sable Ranch) It would appear as if this portion of the course is in the first pool of Wipeout's qualifier, as when you compare this photo to a street view of the ranch you'll see the water tower is at about the same spot to the left of the new course in the photo as it was to the scaffolding that used to hold up the Wipeout sign: (Edit; Having trouble putting a link to street view, but you can just trust me as someone who's been to the set three times) It would also appear as if this course is much larger than any Wipeout obstacle in that spot, as they were never visible from the road (unless they just took away the dirt mound at the start of the Wipeout qualifier making it more visible, which appears may be the case).
