Perry mentioned that none of the Japanese All-Stars could get the time off from work. Makes sense since they have to take off work for the Maguro Festival a week afterwards. I had to pretty much sell my soul to get the days off! The rest of the year should be... interesting...

Wow David Campbell is gonna be there. Hope to see him achieve total victory there. also, i am looking forward to the international match between vietnamese team and international team and japanese team. I want to see the international team which probably will consist of mostly american competitors face off againts the other two teams in a course designed for Asian people.

Just a reminder from the previous page: Time for Foreigners need to be present on Set. Remember that Vietnam has already started taping with their Stage 1 runs. They will take a few days to do that. Foreigners thankfully have been moved to one day and that is Monday. - April 11th compete STAGE 1B all foreigners / 15:00-24:00 - April 12th - Team International vs Team Vietnam vs Team Japan STAGE 1-2( We will elect the candidates with the good performance in Stage 1 to attend to the friendly match ) - April 13th - Team International vs Team Vietnam vs Team Japan STAGE 3-4 - April 14th - compete STAGE 2 all foreigners who made it in top 100 / 15:00-24:00 - April 15th - all free - April 16th - compete STAGE 2 / 15:00-24:00 - April 17th - compete STAGE 2 / 15:00-24:00 - April 18th compete on STAGE 3 all who made it into Top 30 / 15:00-24:00 and compete on STAGE 4 if anyone cleared stage 3, 15:00-24:00 Quick and dirty run-through of obstacles: STAGE ONE - Untimed just like last year. Everyone starts the same: Quad StepsLog Grip (2 drops) The explanation of the split stage is kinda confusing but they alternate by days who gets Stage 1A and who gets Stage 1B. Stage 1A (Right path) Hammer Dodge (manually controlled - hand pully system). First 2 hammers swing at a different rate than the last 4 hammers. (initial reports of some of the Stage 1 from the Vietnamese is that people are rushing thinking it swings at the same rate and try plowing through all 6 instead of going first 2.. waiting then taking last 4). Jumping Spider (baby trampoline) Rope Swing to water platform Lumberjack Climb to button(just like Sasuke 31). *Note to those who remember last year, this set was previously in 1B. It has been moved to even things up a bit. Stage 1B (left path) - By order of draw Monday was set to be Stage 1B so the internationals get the left path. Hedgehog Giant Swing Circle Slider Cargo net to button STAGE TWO - Untimed just like last year. (Top 100 from all Stage 1 competitors run Stage 2 - last year only 40 made it to give you a frame of reference) Cross Slider Bridge of Blades HalfPipe AttackSalmon Ladder (6 rungs with final rung being further than the rest - ala classic Sasuke) Unstable Bridge (Ghetto Bridge - 1 bridge with 4 chains) Double Warped Wall to button STAGE THREE - Untimed just like last year. (Top 30 from all Stage 2 competitors run Stage 3 - last eyar only 9 made it to give you a frame of reference) (Note: Unchanged Stage 3 from last year) Pole Maze Spin Bridge Rumbling Dice Spider FlipCliffhanger (classic Sasuke (no angles) - 3 long flat ledges) Pipe Slider STAGE FOUR - 30 seconds (because why not? LOL) Narrow tower - 12 meter Spider Climb to 12 meter Rope Climb

Can confirm all of Arsenette's intel on the course, EXCEPT the high bar on the cliffhanger does actually ascend very slightly. The offset can't be more than 5 degrees...probably a height difference of 3 inches from bottom to top, but there is definitely a difference. Not really a big deal though, just me being nitpicky.

Ahahahaaha Thanks! Btw, I forgot to add that the bar for the Salmon Ladder is heavier here than in Japan from reports.

Stage 1's are done for Season 2 Vietnam. Today is the international competition (Stage 1-2). This goes for 2 days depending on the clears. Then they go back to Stage 2 individual for Season 2. I know.. kinda wonky.

Does anyone have the 411 on the injury report that Inui referenced? What exactly happened and it was to anyone we know of?

Judging from Perry's vid that Inui tweeted out, we know for sure it was a female and that it was quad step related. I'm sure it will come out soon if it was an international competitor.

It was actually one of the announcers/reporter women who did the quad steps "American style" (where you skip one full side) and she broke her ankle trying to jump the gap between the 1st and the 3rd steps). It was right before all of the internationals were going to run so Perry got a message from Inui to warn them ahead of time. Most didn't listen.

That sounds less like a safety issue and more like someone who tried something they shouldn't have.
Doing one side might actually be safer than back and forth unless your doing cat/can't easily clear distance.
