He failed the Backstream, not sure if it was on that though Yeah ik he failed it I just dunno how you could injure yourself on that... jumping in and hitting your leg on the bottom too hard is unrealistic and pushing off the wall too hard to start swimming is unrealistic too lol Right I agree but then again the Backstream was a menace in 29...maybe it further aggravated it? But still a shame to see him go but I guess he is 45 so he didn't have too much time left.

Broke his leg again during Sasuke er.. (whatever was last tourney.. my brain forgets.. 29?) and had surgery again. He decided he didn't want to go through that again and decided to retire outright. Seems he had knee surgery a couple times during his career and didn't want to have to train back up to where he was to be successful in Sasuke. Yeah, it was 29, but what obstacle did he injure it on? Dropped from the Circle Slider down to the mat wrong and broke his ankle. Adrenaline was high so he didn't realize it until he got in the pool and realized he couldn't move his foot.. ooooooooooouch.

I assume you mean Cross Slider and not Circle Slider? If so not going to lie that's actually fairly impressive clearing the Spider Walk with a broken ankle (Granted adrenaline does hold off pain so it probably didn't even hurt at the time)

AHAHAHAAH sorry a bit brain fried today so all the names are a garbled mess in my brain (which is also a reason why I'm not doing part 3 today since I can't concentrate). And yeah.. that's a true athlete thinking "oh lemme just shake it off.. it's not bad"..

At least we know he had his adrenaline pumping... it woulda been worse to see him fall in pain right then and there...

Yeah, it was 29, but what obstacle did he injure it on? He failed the Backstream, not sure if it was on that though Well the Backstream jets were that powerful.

Hashimoto Kouji. What happen to hashimoto?, retired? Yes, Hashimoto was having anxiety from being unable to deal with the pressure. (This also explains Hashimoto's low numbers and not being declared a Shin Sedai before 29.)

Kota Honma, definitely 25 years old firefighter, the youngest person to ever pass first stage in the age of 16. Last competed in 24, why shouldn't he try new redesigned course and redeem his hero Takeda?

This was unanswered from a while back, but Koji Yamada retired. At last check, he had no more interest in SASUKE.
Shinji Kobayashi was another common one. I think he was just rejected too many times and gave up applying.
No clue what happened to Naoya Tajima. Jun Sato probably got busy with school.

Toshihiro Takeda. I would love to see him in the final stage. I think he would achieve kanzenseiha, due to how much climbing he does. Although I don't think he would be able to get that far.
