31 marks the 4th time Yamada's training methods didn't work.
*Trains Akiyoshi Nakao for Jumping Spider (failed there) *Trains Yousuke Watanabe for Soritatsu Kabe (failed there twice) *Trains Hiroshige Yamamoto for Backstream (failed there)

Sasuke 31 First kanzenseiha tournament with a disqualification First kanzenseiha tournament with a withdrawal
Correct me if I'm wrong thanks
*edit* wrong on both counts.
But on another note, sasuke 31 has the highest cliffhanger failure rate of all kanzenseiha tournaments.

Harashima was DQ'd on the Rokudantobi in 17 as well (And people please don't ask for specifics, as far as I know we still don't have the footage...)

I think I recall now, but honestly I can't picture how that would play out. I don't think he would be able to just go along one side

Stage 3 in 31 was very similar to that of 30: 6 people failed the Cliffhanger (different amount of attempts however) 1 fail on the Vertical Limit (yea ik that they are technically different obstacles, but they are both Vertical Limits)
2 clears in 30, 1 clear in 31 though, so this fact is kinda pointless lol

This is also the first time we had 2 top competitors fail the first obstacle IN A ROW. I mean we had one in 27 (Chih) but Campbell (who was after Chih) cleared. Shingo and Toshihiro on the other hand... even worse they did the very same thing

Previous Third Stage Vets 7/7 Competitors who had never beaten Second Stage at that point 1/10 (Wreath Man only one to clear)

I'm really sorry about thiss negativity but some of these "facts" are getting a bit obscure, like "x happened after x since x" ect and things. These facts become meaningless when they're just facts for the sake of facts.
For example, here's a cool fact for you guys:
Sasuke 31 was the first tournament with a winner and someone who got injured on the vertical limit, AND 2 allstar derps, and the first tournament to have digits that add up to 4 and subtract to 2, and multiply to get 3, and divide to also get 3.
