I put it up on another thread.. not sure which one as to what happened to Yuuji and what he's doing about it.
Nagano is a whole different animal. He wants to retire.

wait HUH?! Nagano WANTS to retire?! I can understand why but I didn't think he'd say it publicly yet... That was the interview. He said he thinks he needs to hang it up because his heart isn't in it anymore. Interviewer asked him to PLEASE come back and he said "I'll see how I feel next year". Everyone is asking him to give it at least one more try. The whole day was really sad. He didn't want to be there as he was not prepared and he feels he HAS to do the show. It stopped being fun for him a few years back. So he relented to Asami yelling at him to don't give up and he came back to Sasuke 30 and did well clearing the first stage. Now she feels she can't yell at him anymore because he went beyond what he promised and came back for 31. So we are hoping he changes his mind but as of now, we may have seen the last tournament for Nagano. Just pray the pressure from Kaiou to continue is strong enough and more importantly, the fire lights back up in him to not only return, but to compete well again. He's exhausted of the crushing pressure to compete at top peak at all times. He's feeling his age. Edit: He booked his return flight for Sunday morning before the tournament started. That should give you an idea of the expectations he had for himself.

oh wow... I can't believe he predicted his fail long before his run... It must hurt realizing he suddenly has to carry the other 2 all stars almost immediately so the pressure soon returned...

Is it possible that wreathman gave shingo the idea of jumping off the top of the rolling hill? And shingo didn't even do that back in SASUKE 1, he stepped down past the first cylinder before taking the leap.

Is it stupid when I scream at the people failing the cross slider?
Okada's Stage 2 fail is such emotional. I wish to see him back in Sasuke 32.
I felt like Kanno's Stage 3 fail is more emotional. Finally proved to us he can do it and then had his final stage crush again...

Seeing Darvish go out on the Cross Slider made me unhappy and shocked me to no end. I actually expected him to at least make it to the Salmon Ladder.

Nagano as I said a while back really imo should have won again in 23 and then fled with the loot retiring. Just to add to the fails list Asa on the CCH - I thought he was the more likely of him and Kanno to get out of the CCH back pocket club so was surpised it was the other way round.

Takeda was a very surprising fail in my opinion, I can see Shingo falling there but Takeda is another story. Yuuji was also very surprising to me, I mean I knew the Tackle would slow him down, but I was really surprised he timed out on an obstacle he had never failed before. Most of the fails in Stage 2 didn't really surprise me except for Jin. Kawaguchi falling on the Cliffhanger was very surprising, I could never see him falling on it like that, that goes to show one tiny mistake can make all the difference.

Ryo Wreath Man Shingo + Takeda (Why didn't they jump from the middle like they used to?)

For me it's Tomo flubbing the CCH. It was a bad flub, too, his hand completely missed it.
