So Shingo is sitting out this time? That's fine. New faces for the US to contend to. Shingo was training the newer guys to take over. I mentioned that last year. And wrong moto for the guess, especially since he was the best of Japan last year in Vegas. aha! Also yeah Morimoto may be in again

Also yeah Morimoto may be in again I wouldn't be surprised at all if Morimoto returns. He did better than Kong last year, AND blew away USA last year. Also, while likely, everyone seems to be assuming it will be teams of 5 this year, although that's not confirmed yet, is it? Anyways, by a standard of purely results, Tomohiro, Kazuma, Kanno, Shunsuke, and Miromoto all seem like candidates. Yuuji maybe, but he seems like he is slowly going past his prime.

It's probably unlikely but I'd love to see shunsuke there on team Japan

Oh yeah Tim Shieff is back too for team UK If what RobbyMac says is true.
This doesn't surprise me because of his achievements in last years special plus doing well in NW UK

Hopefully Miska will be on the Sweden/Scandinavia team so we can actually see him run stage 3

I got power late last night and got some sleep. I'm backed up on information so unless others found it I still can't say anything.

Nah they haven't been officially revealed AFAIK, some people did find them in town before so among some people team japan is known. Granted they're probably going to be in the area soon

There has been some information revealed about Team Europe that has been revealed publicly not by NBC but has made its way around so the information is not really a spoiler.
For team Europe it appears Sean, Stefano, and Tim Shieff are back Miska, and Vlad are probably not returning in their place It appears Tim Champion from ninja warrior UK who is a Gymnast and Alexander Mars the person that went the the furthest in the first season of ninja warrior Sweden has taken their place.

Cool cool. Thanks so much! I'll post the same for Team Japan then since by this point it's sorta public kinda sorta. Returning from last year are Ryo, Morimoto. Replacements are Tomohiro Kawaguchi, Masashi Hioki and Kenji "Kong" Takahashi.

Replacements are Tomohiro Kawaguchi, Masashi Hioki and Kenji "Kong" Takahashi. Looks good. If I had it my way I'd have Ryo, Morimoto, Tomohiro, Shunsuke, and Kong, but this is close enough. Hopefully Hioki steps up to the plate.

A lot also has to do with availability since they will be a week away from home. Some guys just don't have that kind of time. That said, I love the composition of this year's team and it gives the ANW only people a glimpse of the current generation.
