Yeah, it was a good obstacle, They just put it in poorly, A: They put it in after the Jumping Spider, B: They made it too easy to pass. If the do what I say and put it on a bungee cord rig holding it up so it shakes and bounces (So it might tip over if you fall on it) and put it where the Pole Maze is now its a good obstacle!

Yeah, have about half of the bungess, have it be a suspension bridge with bungee cords to hold it up so it seays back and forth and up and down. Increase the length by about .5
And put it before the jumping spider to replace the pole maze.
Now THAT'S an obstacle =p

Yeah, Now that would be a good obstacle, I could see it taking out more people than the Pole Maze did.

No doubt the Bungee Bridge has potential to take people out, but IMO it's not very visually interesting. And that's half the point. In Sasuke 18, most of it was just people crawling across it. Hardly dignified. Note how Nagano just effortlessly strode over it though, lol.

Thats why you make all the mods, So it takes more than crawling. And alot of obstacles aren't visually interesting but they have taken people out before.

I agree with earlier posts that the only change will be in stage 2 where the Swing Ladder will be replaced (perhaps the Sky Walk or Curtain Cling). And they should decrease the time limit in stage 2 as well. Other than that, I doubt much will change.

Yea, now that we've seen good quality footage, it looks like the Pole Maze is back again. The course does take a right after it, and leads to the Jumping Spider. It should be interesting if the time limit changes at all in the 1st Stage though. They could increase it to make it easier, or lower it to make it harder. It's will also be interesting to see what slight differences there are in obstacles. Should be fun to watch.

I hate the pole maze, and it's sad not to really see any new obstacles, back to the bungee bridge idea, you could also make it like a tunnel to were not only do you have to avoid it flipping, but you basically have to do an army crawl, that would be a really good obstacle.

Everyone falls on it anyways, adding a tunnel would make it easier.

Adding a tunel would be... bad.
How would you see the competitor?
And making them do an army crawl wouldn't work... you can't do an army crawl on bungee cords when ove rhalf the floor is missing.
And wipe-outs would be boring.
And it'd be a bit too complicated, just not apealign to look at.
it's like they couldnt decide what to do so they combined 40 different obstacles to make one giant cluster fu...
you get the idea.

ck. Oh, you didn't want that word finished did you?
And I suppose it could be a semi clear tunnel with cameras at the ends of it, But the conveyor belt was always boring.

I think the producers like the Pole Maze because it hangs people up. That's precisely why I don't like it. I don't think there should be anything that will delay you until the Warped Wall. It sucks to see a run get cut short by 15-20 seconds on the Pole Maze and then they have no chance for the rest of the stage, even though they have to go and do it anyway.

You WOULD like the pole maze =[
Nah just kidding.
The thing is, it's not even really that hard, just a time waster.
I ate the warped wall because it's unfair to short people.

I would say that shorter people have a disadvantage, but it's definitely not impossible. Nagano and Jordan are the exact same height (162 cm) and yet Nagano has no problems with it. But it all evens out in the end. Taller people have to carry around more height, which makes the 3rd Stage harder for them.
