I was, like many others here, disappointed in their "Crazy Cliffhanger". I was expecting a somewhat-similar replica as the one on SASUKE, albeit with the gap from ledge 3 to ledge 4 being about half the distance (i.e. that the transfer could be completed by a grab, rather than having to be jumped). Furthermore, the ledges were said to be 2.25 inches thick---nearly double the size of the standard 3-centimeter ones on SASUKE. I understand that there should be some leniency with it being so late in a city finals course, but doing so felt really out of place IMO.

If they want the best of the best for Las Vegas, they need to push the competitors to their limit (obviously don't make the course impossible, but still)...

The rumbling dice did a good job testing the competitors that's for sure. the Salmon ladder also did some fair damage so the CCH or whatever you want to call it is getting the competitors that handled the rumbling dice which aren't very many

I really don't mind the whole CCH kid version thing, except maybe it would be cooler to have it swapped with the Rumbling Dice -- that would have been a better "balance" of obstacles in my opinion. And with the exception of maybe Geoff, a Sasuke-version of the CCH would be undoable where it was and it would be a race to just get there, which would be dumb.

I didn't get it, mainly cause people have been complaining about ANW's f***-up's for years

I can say overall compared to the last several years NBC has gotten better at the production of ANW hopefully they build of this year to make it even better next year. I also forgot to say nice run by Captain NBC (Sorry his wig always makes me chuckle) he has gotten better every year and it showed he upped his game another level this year from last year. It's not a wig. His parents and then-gf (now ex-gf) wear wigs.

Yeah, Jamie just dyes his hair like that, it's usually black, pretty sure it has the same style as his costume anyways based on an Alternate Routes visit in November where that was the case

I guess while Jamie is a topic, I wonder if he will ever become so serious about the show that he ends up stopping wearing the costume and just wear casual clothes like the majority of competitors.

By "updated" you mean f***ed up now we can add the rumbling dice to the list since it was royally messed up. Perhaps this is why they've been making new obstacles that have never been on SASUKE. Just so they don't goof up a perfectly fine SASUKE obstacle

Just so they don't goof up a perfectly fine SASUKE obstacle EXACTLY! The pole grasper for example was fine! I now dub the cliffhanger the Toned down cliffhanger!

Can anyone think of an obstacle ANW has made better than the original version? All I can think of is the Bungee Bridge and that was still meh
