I found the MR00's. They have a circular pattern on the soles, right? I think I'll try them since they seem to be so highly rated. Yen and Kninja, thanks for the input. I'll take all of the advice I can get! I think there are two versions of the same shoe out right now. I don't have any experience with version 2, only with version 1, so I can't comment on it if you have version 2. Version 1 Version 2

Thanks Yen. The v2's are what I found. We'll see how it goes!

Great vid man! So helpful. I was wondering if u could make a vid on some balancing obstacles. I know people dont focus on balance so much but i feel its another important trait of the shoes u wear that u didnt cover. If u could include the mr00, mr10, ariakes, nls-1, and tiger 81 that would be awesome!

Hi, First post here I have been a fan for almost 2 years. I was wondering two things about shoes. Does anyone know how the japanese shoes a lot of the japanese guys are called with the split sole? And a Question for Kninja do you know if any of these shoes leave marks in halls? since i would also like to wear them for badminton. Greets

After another season of ANW - ill say this.
The best shoe is the MR10.

Except for certain reasons (I wore KO's in pittsburgh, but i wore them for the snake bridge) The midsole has a curve that i gameplanned would ride the edge of the snakebridge when it flipped - and it did, perfectly. For grip, MR10's all day. Super solid.

Sorry for the slow response. I have been unplugged for a bit.
Geoff is right about the mr10's. I swear they can't be beat.
I am not sure what shoe the Japanese guys wear, and as far as I can tell they leave small, hard to see marks based on the videos I have seen them post.

Don't know if yal have seen this shoe but might be a really good pick for some of yal running the course. Has a good flat bottom and should stick really good. My new balance minimus MO70's are design just like it and love them

The Merrell Vapor Glove is great for grip while being as close to the ground as possible. It's like the Vibram FiveFinger KSO but without the toes. I have both. Jamie Rahn wore them last year. Attachment DeletedIf you want to chance it, there's a popular knock-off on Amazon for $33.

I'm trying to decide between getting the ollo pk shoes or the tempest shoes. Overall which ones would be better?

I had no idea any of those shoes existed.
The Tempest NLS-1 looks thicker/higher in the soles.
The Ollo Zero will magically get you out of crutches and let you freerun while your hat constantly flips off.

I want to buy the New Balance shoes that everyone is discussing, but when I search there are lots of options and I'm not sure which are which. Can someone send me a link to the exact (v1 or mr10) shoes? All I see is mt or other letter/number combinations.

The New Balance MR/WR 00 and 10 have both been discontinued. The closest I see is the New Balance 200 Trainer (UX200V1). It's a bit expensive at $130. Wish they had more colors besides black or metallic beetle. There is also the MX/ WX 20v5 at $100, which is a bit thicker.

if anyone is a size 8 and wants to buy the MR10, PM me and i will sell them to you through ebay
they are used ,barely (i really didn't like this shoe, ugly, super uncomfortable & any hint of dust on the sole renders the grip useless)
