Yes, apart from the salmon ladder, there was also a trampoline. I guess most people, even the extremely fit ones, would never have come across a salmon ladder or a trampoline (unless you're a gymnast) before in their lives. Personally, I have no problem with these practise obstacles, everyone could try them out if they wanted to, so it was fair play. Trampolines especially are much trickier than they appear, so you'd be wise to try one before your run if this was your first encounter

Hah! Lord knows there's a huge difference with even mini tramps! The Japan one has caused issues since it's made differently than even the western mini-tramps. I don't fault anyone for doing that on the side. My understanding of it must have been a mistake then. I was led to believe it was ON the course that they did it (like in Turkey - in fact they devoted a DAY to it..). That's a far different issue to practice on the side. Hell.. they do that in Sasuke.. (Everyone remember " Shinji's Flying Teabag?" LOL)

I can't fault mini tramps being backstage, Sasuke and ANW do the same thing, I like how ANW also has some bars to train on as well

When Hunter went to NWUK they were given trampolines to practice on backstage and were given tips for the obstacles but werent allowed on the course.

Agreed. Oh by contrast I heard the UK production was by far the best of the 3. In order of best done and lessons learned, Sweden was first and "okay".. then Tukey was done and the production staff was HORRIBLE.. then UK and the team was friggin' awesome. So it seems my biggest gripe was Turkey because of the day(s) spent taking the competitors through the course. Sweden was a misunderstanding with the early reports. I think what might have happened was the irritation that it was an ANW spin off and not a Sasuke one. That might have colored the reports coming in (and possible part of the confusion). Glad Sweden is getting a season 2 though. Turkey is done forever (though everyone saw that coming) and we'll see what happens with UK.

If the UK version is cancelled I will cry forever because that'd be my only chance gone.

The announcers and competitors at NW:UK sounded like they were going to do a season 2 but we will see with the ratings. Tbh a 3.8m with a peak of 5.5m was ok but Britains Got Talent which was after averaged a 9.1m so it was nowhere close to that, but hopefully it is good enough they do another series (maybe even on ITV2)

I've got a good idea for the qualifiers. Air them on ITV2 and the final 4 stage course on ITV1 lol

It seems like there are clips of Ninja Warrior Sverige on youtube, but full episodes have proven elusive. Cursed regional blocking!

It's not that hard to convince your browswer that you're Swedish. Also some eps can be torrented, though not sure if you can find the whole season...

Ninja Warrior Sweden had the best looking competitors of any Ninja warrior competition and hot interviewers but i didn't like the setup of the show
All stages were the previous stage with a few obstacles added, not all new obstacles
Overall it viewed very very repetitive
