Just got an acceptance for this year's AnimeNext. I was invited back last year for this year and got the official approval to mention it now. As a reminder, AnimeNext runs June 12-14, 2015 in Somerset, NJ.

Teheheheh I got to meet 2 SMF people in person. It was fun! I hope it isn't god-awful-hot like it was last year.. I almost passed out it was so friggin' hot and humid.

Invited again to do a panel at this year's AnimeNext. I'll be applying for it this weekend. What stuff should I focus on based on my experience last year? I have my thoughts on it just wanted to hear what you guys think. Biggest thing I can recommend: If you are going to discuss anything, make sure you are aware of the time frame you are given. When I first started running panels in 2010, I went WAY over my time frame, and even worse, when I first ran my Sasuke panel in 2011 at Anime Boston (not the video you see on the first page), I had so much stuff to present, but I could only present about half of it. It sounds like you did really well last year, so it's good that you have the experience of running a panel under your belt now, but you still want to be aware of what's going on. It's very, and I mean VERY easy to get lost in the moment and lose awareness of what's going on around you when you are presenting to a large audience. Good luck at the convention!

Thanks! Btw I asked for a half hour more and planning on condensing the information and backending my presentation to focus on Sasuke Rising. It was clear that the audience were new to ANW and had zero background in Sasuke (especially since G4 was off the air by then). I got most of the gasps when I showed Sasuke Rising's course since people thought the show was canceled. I'll have 28-30 to openly talk about with a few glimpses of 31 (whatever TBS tweets since I won't be able to show my own photos of the course). Still though it was a lot of fun and I was blessed with an awesome crowd. Hopefully I can fine tune it and make the presentation simpler. I can leave the backstory on the bankruptcy and politics for my book.

Okie dokie! I got my room for next weekend. It's the exact same room as last year but this time at night - 8PM. Saturday, June 13, 2015. Here's the schedule. DoubleTree Hotel at Somerset right next to the Garden State Exhibit Center.

Btw since I got some questions about this, I did the panel and will have that out sometime next week. Health has been wonky the past couple of days and I'm behind in blogging. I haven't even touched editing the video yet. So when I get that done I'll do a full blogpost on it with the video.

Just as an FYI. I edited the panel and I even uploaded it on Youtube but it got an immediate copyright strike due to a sound of some sort. Working on getting the strike removed. I'd rather have it all shown but if they persist I'll just edit out all the video I used and upload it that way. I'll keep you posted on it.

Copyright claim was lifted after a month of inactivity so it's now up! Fair warning I had an hour and a half this year and I used most of it. Edit: Blogpost
