In light of all of the horrible stuff in the news lately, I thought that this was an interesting story. The oldest verified man in recorded history, Jiroemon Kimura of Japan, celebrated his 116th birthday on April 19th. He is also one of the few men who has held the title of world's oldest person. Furthermore, he is the only man currently living who was born before 1900, and is the 9th-oldest person recorded to have ever lived. www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/04/19/worlds-oldest-ever-man-turns-116-in-japan/To put this in a SASUKE perspective, he was 100 when SASUKE 1 aired.

This is a few days late, but he died just a few days ago. He was the last living person born in 1897. RIP Kimura.
