by the looks of the pic bar the old pipe slider at the end, looks like the 9 - 17 cliffhanger but looks to be modified with a very short final bar. way to many old obstacles brought back into the 3rd stage

1: Rumbling Dice 2: Body Prop? (Not too confident in saying it since it looks like the supports aren't adjustable) 3: Cliffhanger (Appears to be aratame version but with a short third ledge, reminiscent of the 5th ledge of the UCH, I don't see anything after that so I assume from there you're supposed to jump to the platform (Think of the Cliffhanger at the Chitose Muscle Park) (EDIT: in this (), actually I see another frame near the CH, it's possible ledge 3 isn't the end) 4: Curtain Cling (It's worth noting there is a platform here, this will be the first time the second half of stage 3 with multiple sections has an actual designated rest point, another point of note is this platform is higher than the starting platform for the Curtain Cling) 5: (I can't tell if this is the Ranpu Grasper with only one row of globes or the Doorknob Grasper extended in length) 6: Looks like some kind of Pipe Slider or Bar Glider, it's hard to tell with the Final Stage supports f**king with perception here *Only 6 obstacles in stage 3*

only the body prop, that small last ledge on the cliffhanger and the pipe slider will eliminate people, i dont see anything else doing any damage. expect high clearance numbers, but then again, it might be dimmed down so that the all starts can clear it one last time then ramp up the difficulty in 29

... what? We can't think of new obstacles? Really?
I mean I really like the ones they are bringing back but we have seen plenty of this already.

... what? We can't think of new obstacles? Really? I mean I really like the ones they are bringing back but we have seen plenty of this already. These are also obstacles from an era where it took 7 years to have someone win... And the top competitors from now are just going to get through Stage 3 anyways unless it's ramped up to the point no one will ever make the final stage ever again... And how do we know this isn't a one tournament thing like Stage 1 in Sasuke 25? That was a throwback course but it wasn't the stage 3 for the whole era...

Yeah its true. I was just hoping that with the whole "Sasuke Rising" theme where things are going to be all new would translate to the 3rd stage.

Yeah its true. I was just hoping that with the whole "Sasuke Rising" theme where things are going to be all new would translate to the 3rd stage. Well it could be Sasuke rising back up to where it was, back when an era wasn't over within a few years And honestly why are we surprised about stage 3? We knew how we were having other classic obstacles returning, And we don't know everything about stage 3 yet, we don't know the catch on some of these obstacles... like why the Body Prop doesn't look right for the Body Prop (If not for Inui's comment I wouldn't be calling it the Body Prop at all), why the Cliffhanger has that other support separate from it (Maybe something Sim Sasuke?), or what exactly the last two obstacles are...

I see the Devil Balanco before the Pipe Slider.

I see the Devil Balanco before the Pipe Slider. I thought that was the rest bar actually...

I think that the weird pink thing will be the toughest obstacle in the stage. And the Pipe Slider track seems to go down then up

Weird pink thing? Are we talking the red lights on the thingy after the Curtain Cling?
Also for the Pipe Slider/Bar Glider/Whatever it is, I think that our perception of it is all f***ed and we're seeing supports from the Final Stage

I am really curious about the 2nd Stage. Yeah, especially the first obstacle, at first we thought Chain Reaction but upon seeing the commercial that was disproved because of where the start line is, RC says Slider Drop but I think that's way wrong since I've seen nothing showing it (And I've spotted the Slider Drop in pics before ), I don't know if there's anything between the first obstacle and the Spider Walk, the last 4 obstacles we know (Spider Walk, Gyakso Conveyor, swimming obstacle thing and Wall Lifting)

This sort of feels like a short course, one that I think will still do damage because of the relative unexperience for the majority of the competitors.

I agree with the short course thing, but the inexperience thing I'm not so sure about, most of the top competitors were long time Sasuke fans, I mean for example, Yuuji has been trying to get on since Sasuke 11, I'm sure he has trained for these obstacles since they were added to the course.

The only reason more people didn't fail the Curtain Cling in the Nagano era is because it was the third obstacle. Remember how many people there were in 14-17 that could barely hang onto the first ledge of the cliffhanger after the CC? I can see it causing A LOT of damage after the cliffhanger, especially because it emphasizes pinch grip, and the fingers will already be shot after the cliffhanger.
If the lamp grasper comes after the curtain cling, then I have no complaints. I still think it's a very tough third stage. If the Devil's Swing is in there or it's the doorknobs instead of the lamps, I'm loving it.
And remember, a far pipe slider gap is brutal after all of that. So I hope they make the gap as far as they did 14-17.
