i think it will stay in stage 3, but it's going to be a combo with the flying bar + bar glider

it's going to be a combo with the flying bar + bar glider When did SRW get another account on these forums? Anyway, the answer is no. It shouldn't have been there in the first place and it won't be back. That's like asking if the Arm Bike will ever come ba- oh s***.

Unless from now on it functions more like the original Pipe Slider at the end of the track (i.e. the bar doesn't stay in place while you're gaining momentum), IMO it should replaced with something more difficult.

Harder version (more jumps and ditches) with no stoppers and then talk to me........

I didn't really like the stoppers at the end, the idea was cool for it but probably could have been expanded. I don't think it will be back, it was beaten pretty easily by both Ryo and Yuuji.

Again.. 2 people that have been doing Muscle Park pipeslider for longer than more Americans have been watching the show. Difficult to compare things to those 2 which is what people are doing.

And even if not for the Muscle Park ones, consider how many replicas both of them have been on, Hell, in the case of Ryo he has a pipe slider in his bedroom...

The people who practice the most are most likely to get there anyway.... I mean you're not making an argument of any kind with that statement. The stoppers made a difficult obstacle pretty simple for someone in good shape. Either put the flying bar last again or create a new obstacle.

It wasn't the best obstacle. Personally I would've liked the flying bar @ 5 jumps at the end.

Still, the Bar Glider has stoppers which stop the bar from going backwards. While others may have failed it if they had gotten there, there is no doubt that the Bar Glider is at least easier than the Pipe Slider. The main reason the Pipe Slider was so tough was because of the bar slipping backwards. EDIT: What is cool that I didn't notice before was that the second part of the track is angled upwards, which is a pretty nice addition.

Yeah, it stayed in place completely. I have no doubt that those 2 could've beaten the old Pipe Slider anyway, but they turned my favorite obstacle in all of Sasuke into a joke.

I'm starting to get this vibe from people when people fail an obstacle, it's a tough one, but if no one fails it, It's an easy obstacle. I hardly read anybody take out the account of actual skill. I bet you anything, if 5 other people made it that far and fell on the Bar Glider, most of you all would freaking love it. Of course, now that I mention this. Most of you are going to deny this logic, because agreeing would possibly show some kind of bias. And Bada, no worries. The Gliding ring is still a bigger joke to me.

Well it looked like the track had more traction than the pipe slider so it actually took some effort to move the damn thing, and as scnoi pointed out the second half is angled up a bit, you kind of need a bit of a stopper just for it to be physically possible (Even perfect Pipe Slider dismounts had some backslide), And despite Ryo and Yuuji clearing it, you still did have to be careful on your swing, the stopper isn't big and you can easily slide out, hell, Yuuji came close to coming out of the stopper... It was a fine obstacle it just had two of the best competitors being the only two to attempt it...

Keeping it simple is best.
Rather than altering the shape of the structure this is what they do:
As the competitor is going down the track, they send a an electric charge down the poles, forcing the competitor to have to "hop" every time the charge is about to reach them so that they don't get shocked into releasing the bar. To make it more difficult the charges will be sent at random intervals, based on Ushio Higuchi's mood that day.
Such a charge would probably be audible, giving the competitor a warning. To get around that, they will blast a Eurobeat remix of Yagyu-Gaiden over the loudspeakers to cover up the sound along with a flashing lights and disco balls hanging on the frame of the Third Stage Course. On the sidelines, men and women dressed like the All-Stars will be doing para para in time to the music, as well as any other 3rd Stage competitors. If they refuse to dance they are automatically disqualified.
Furthermore, rather than extending the track or making the jump farther, they will simply add spikes to the last third of the landing mat, forcing the competitor to jump over the spikes. If they land on the spikes but continue on, more power to them. And of course the sharks in the pool would also encourage them to stay out of the water.
If they are able to get past all this they still will have to deal with getting off the landing platform to get to the Final Stage. Usually this is an easy task but right before the steps will be Michael Jai White playing his character from the movie Black Dynamite.
If they can successfully avoid or defeat Black Dynamite they will be able to take on the Final Stage, a 50 meter rope climb in twenty seconds.
Naturally, when Yuuji is able to complete all this on his first try, people will complain that it's too easy and that the older courses were harder.
