Uh-oh. It looks like it's going to come right up the Chesapeake Bay. Hope the damage is minimal.

Yeah... looks like we're predicted to get hit... First a heavy storm (To the YGO fans here, not that kind that's getting unbanned ) full of Hail, then an Earthquake and now a Hurricane.... NATURE IS PISSED!!!

Hopefully it won't be that bad in Baltimore. I'm guessing I should probably get all the yardwork I have to do done before the weekend though

Feel free to send Irene to Texas. We could use the rain.

Well...s**t. I live about an hour north of Philly (suburban township near Allentown) and it looks like this is going to be the worst storm that I've seen up to now in my life, if ever. Hopefully there's not horribly bad flooding though, but after hearing about 1972's Hurricane Agnes from my parents I'm very skeptical about this. I really hope everyone affected by this storm makes it through OK. On the plus side, if there's a hurricane over the weekend I might not have classes on Monday. Yay?

I lived in south Florida in 2004 and 2005. Stop freaking out, you'll all be fine. Get a couple cases of water though in case.

I've been praying for all of you in the East. Please heed all warnings and take all neccesary precautions.
I'm still hoping for a wild curve to the east that would miss everyone. It's not likely at this point, but even a small deviation (in the right direction) from the projected path would benefit a ton of people.
Please stay safe.
