Kinniku Banzuke was canceled in japan, G4 recently started using years of Kinniku Banzuke footage to create Unbeatable Banzuke, I think she means filmed all the "Kato Kei" segments and mixed them with Kinniku Banzuke footage.

That's what I thought. I don't think Kinniku Banzuke had a "Temple of Champions". That is probably something G4 created.

Actually the role of Kato, kei, played by Rome Kanda, are new now. The shows have not been seen here, but may not be "new", per se! Regardless, it's good to see the ones that haven't been shown in the states.

Thoughts of tonights episode: Well not much to say about Like a (word I can't spell) 5, the gate coming down on the conveyer belt was evil.
Thunder Dome/Untouchable was interesting and entertaining. I must be psychic because I predicted the winners of all 4 rounds.

Like a Perriot 5 is old Rider, we've seen that course before.
The last episode shown before it started it's re-runs was like a perriot 5, honestly it's dissapointing compared to the 4th one.
The 4th one looked beastly, even the champion failed early on.
In this one two people who consistantly lose early on made it almost to the end... wait until one of the champs try the course.

I know, altough I didn't know about the fact they drop that gate on the conveyor belt, remember that no one made it there the first time it was shown? the farthest someone made it was the see-saw thing. And yeah, the obstacles are easier in comparison (I'd still fail, I've never even touched a unicycle), They just made it longer and more confusing of which way you have to go. 3 had a sharp turn narrow slope, hammers that hit the wheels, make you carry a sword up a bumpy ramp while they dim the lights and shoot steam at you, 4 was definitly harder than 5.
I think a few of the champions HAVE tried it, and failed towards the end.

I miss having cable just because I was in the middle of recording all the Banzuke. Plus, it's more athletic people falling down. :3
Just for everyone's edification, the "new" episodes are actually several years old, save for the post-production stuff, which is Rome Kanda (in a very awesome blazer) and a green screen. I find some of the schtick pretty good, actually, especially when it comes to Neko de Drive.
The Inter Japan Quick Muscle Championship episode was part of the first 8 (test episodes?) to be aired. I forget the specific date, but it was when the Giants/Patriots game was being simulcast on the major networks (not the Super Bowl). I have to think Like a Pierrot 1 was one of the other events, but that's beside the point. This episode, to my knowledge, has never re-aired for whatever reason. Since they started airing Muscle Gym events, I just presume that they never will re-air it or continue.
At least it shows why Yamada Katsumi was ever on Sasuke to begin with.

Everyone here knows Kinniku Banzuke is years old, but these are new UNBEATABLE Banzuke using footage from it and jumbling everything around and using someone to make people think it was part of the original show when it wasn't

The promotion G4 gives it makes it a little ambiguous. You have to find any cross-referencing between the two yourself, so I wouldn't be surprised if the common viewer didn't know which came first.
But that is one spiffy blazer, though.

Well its new in the sense G4 never has shown it before. They're going to say Ninjafest 2 is all new episodes of Ninja Warrior and that will be true in the sense we've only seen it as Sasuke 21 but we don't know what order they're going to show the runs in and what runs they're going to show.

You probably missed the spider walk.
I've been recording them all, so I havn't watched em yet.
Wow, how are youg uys missing them?
Ryan posted the schedule on both forums about 12 times... not hard to miss.. lol.
And you KNOW, common sense, that they will show a new episode every day until they run out, and they said they had over 50 done.
So if you havn't seen 50 new ones, then you should expect a new one everyday, your fault for not thinkin.

I never saw the revised schedule until now, only the old schedule showing them at 8:30. So do they rerun these on weekends or something? the 5:30 and 2:30 ones are non existant now.
EDIT: Found something about Spider Walk, sucky british dubbing and no actual runs but I found something
And I wish Banzuke was still around becuase I would so f***ing ace that course (Spider Walking is my specialty on the course)

Although I'm good at spider walking, I can't do it for long periods of time.
it's not my strength, it's my hip or pelvis or whatever.
When my legs spread of that far, it dislocates and makes it extremely hard to do.
Without that problem though, I could be the king of spider walking >.> lol
That course looks a bite asier than most banzuke courses, but still has difficult spots.
it's the spider walked mixed in with the body prop, and those really close walls are harder to do than you think, far walls arn't tha difficult, but when you are cramped in a tiny place, it's honestly REALLY hard to do.

Yeah, Its the close ones I have a problem with, I just do that turning around/bad technique method on those.
And I'm good at holding them for a longish time (The best recorded time I've done was 10 minutes), I've found when you're moving its easier and it gets harder when you just hold the same spot, And going fast for too long the pace gets a bit off (Say you do close to Nagano's Speed in a straightaway longer than the Spider Walk in Sasuke 1 through 6 the pace gets a bit weird and I have to stop moving forward, then start again.
