Also from that Twitter, it appears Kojima Yoshio is confirmed. He's the dude that does the groud punching thing, failed the Hazard Swing, and has a wardrobe akin to Hiromitsu Takahashi. Well here you guys go in advance... we'll be needing it..

No confirmation whatsoever but found a tweet that was disturbing. Again.. no way to confirm it yet and no idea who:
僕はクロスカントリーの草レースとかよく行ってたけど、夏の苗場スキー場とか、近くだと荒川土手とかTBSの緑山スタジオの裏山(サスケとかのロケするとこが解放されてた)とか筑波山とかかな。なんか流行って
(Google disaster) I was with someone who was injured during the recording in Lvshan Sasuke in hospital now and find what I write here?

Why is it disturbing though? Injuries happen on the course. That they went to the hospital is at least a sign that they are being careful about it. Remember Banzuke and 18. M9 has a terrible track record when it comes to taking care of contestants (and their own performers).
And the person isn't sure if they can write about on twitter. It's not clear if the person was at the taping or if the person just happens to be at the same place as someone who was at the taping.

This is true.. I just don't like seeing people be injured is all. Always amazed that more injuries don't happen as often so when it does happen still throws me for a loop. Either way the taping is way off.. it's almost 8pm okay.. 7:30 pm and taping for stage 1 is completed. Started to rain and it's not expected to stop since it's the outer bands of that storm that's still 2 days away. Oh boy this is going to be pretty interesting.

Got a message back about the injury. The exact detail of what happened and to whom it happened are not at all clear. That said we have "some" idea of who it might be to narrow down the information. So for that I'll put it in spoilers if you do not want to know anything about who it might be if it at all influences knowing any results of any kind. One of the Americans is the one in the hospital. No clue as to who, what happened, what obstacle.. nothing. Seems it was a stage 1 purely by timeline. The tweet was 2 hours before the other tweet about Wakki going on the course so it had to have been a stage 1 based on that information. That also explains the time lag and why it took so long to finish stage 1. If anything else is found out feel free to post it and use spoilers for the sake of trying to keep any "results" (since this would be considered a failed stage one result) out of the thread. Thanks. If I find anything else I'll do the same.

Very much agreed. If I find out more I'll post about it using spoiler tags.

Thanks Nice to see Takeda back (stage 1 pic). Bunch of people we can identify from that. And of course solidify the first obstacle.

Alright so the rain doesn't seem to be too much of an issue... EXTREME SPOILER BELOW Is that Kanno wearing a white towel around his neck near the start?!?!!

No I see Takeda standing next to Shingo standing next to Yamada. If you are referring to the black shorts with the white towel over his neck.. that's Yamada. He's physique unmistakable.

Stage 2 looks odd. Do you think the slider drop got replaced?

P.S. Information on the injury I posted earlier. Again spoilers and no we don't know exact name of the person. Oh..difficult english. He injured leg (Knee). Can't walk, so Handstand walking. I seemed to need time to become normal walking.

I think that looks more like Yamada personally. And just because someone wears a towel, does not guarentee a fail This is turning into an intresting thread

P.S. Additional information as to how the injury happened. Again we have no confirmation as to exact person. Note back from person. They wrote back using google most likely. Here's what he said: i know only...jump to pole, Failed, Swamp land. just then, his right Knee received all impact and all his weight.

Jump to poll? an HPA fail? only thing I can think of unless its a new obstacle
