Ah if possible keep the Sasuke obstacles on the obstacles thread please? As the weeks wear on that will grow on its own and as this tourney goes on it will get more as well.

ANW2 was definitely a huge improvement from ANW1. They really seemed to put a lot more effort into this one in both production and promotion. Like scnoi said though, it was pretty long, especially since it was on a weekday when people are still busy with work and school-related things (like I did and as a result missed a few parts). If they had scheduled them to be on either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday nights instead, then they probably would've been a little better off but it's still way better than last year's. So overall I'm pretty happy with G4 on this way. If I had to rate ANW2 so far, I'd probably give it a 4 out of 5 if I had to grade it.

Having the announcer live as opposed to looped in after the fact was an improvement.

My girlfriend's screams? Yes lmfao That was definitely worth watching. Gotta love the energy and support! Btw just finished East coast rebroadcast. Definitely better this time around. They learned a lot from the atrocious ANW1 broadcast and even knowing the times at the end helped big time. A much better step forward.

Isn't Matt Iseman on Clean Sweep? If so, that made my day.
The other guy I've seen before too, but I can't place on what show I've seen him on.

Matt Iseman is both a designer on Clean House and the host of Sports Soup. Jimmy Smith I believe is an MMA commentator.
So in G4's minds, Ninja Warrior = Comedic extreme sports.

I remember seeing Jimmy Smith on Fight Quest. He's easy to listen to. Planet Green seems to be airing marathons of the show recently.

In case anyone cared. I messaged Trevor Vaughn about his victory dance. It was a Scout taunt from Team Fortress 2. I figured as much because I love that game.... =]

I am very impressed with ANW2. They even had some clips of the sasuke stars. I also loved the 'joke competitors', which felt very in spirit with Sasuke. I was also very impressed with Ryan Steven's run.
In terms of presentation, the on screen designs are very clean. The course also looks great, and the commentators are solid. Now I just hope the final eliminations don't involve carrying bricks.

I was also very impressed with Ryan Steven's run. You do realize G4 got his name wrong right?... In fact that competitor himself said what his real name was... See?
