It's always Green or Red.. Am I the only one who liked the 13-17 mats? Although I do prefer the Red mats over the Green Is it me or I see a spider walk in stg 2? The only pic of Stage 2 we've gotten is that tester/demonstrator and I'm pretty sure that was the outside of the Double Salmon Ladder you saw and the lighting made it look different. Look at the Shin Sasuke version of the Salmon Ladder and you'll see what I mean

Am I the only one who liked the 13-17 mats? Nope, I loved the black mats as well. I think gold would be the right color for the mats. I wonder why...

last I checked, this was a SASUKE Obstacle thread...not a SASUKE Mats thread(I'm looking at you, chatters).
SWEET! THE HPA IS BACK! And there is a design on it....maybe flames? Anyway, it is nice to see that, even though they differed from 25(possibly because of the abysmal ratings), they still "renewed" some things. I'm stoked!

I liked 25 for the most part, honestly. I just didn't care for BOTH log obstacles. I think they should've tried to make a new one. The Rolling Log and Log Grip both had great runs.

I really wonder why they got rid of the flames. And yes it does look like its brown. And oti i agree the two logs were a bit much; one or the other is just fine. Personally, I hope the second to last obstacle is the circle slider again. I was fun to watch. Maybe a bit lower though? I wouldn't be surprised if the slider jump or something was back.

In 25 the Circle Slider was the same height as it was in 17, It was just moved slightly forwards so it SEEMS higher because you'd already have passed the peak of your jump and started going down if you jumped the same as in 17

The only reason I could come up with was that the paint was glossy and therefore slippery, or they completely redesigned the wall to make it harder. And YES, I really want the Circle Slider back as well. And I'm hoping the invisible obstacle before the Jumping Spider is the Rolling Log. The steps are always fine with me, and if they keep the Rolling Log and Circle Slider, I would be ok with the first stage.

That's what I was talking about. Though I'm wondering what the heck could that structure support. If I just had to take a random guess I would guess maybe theres some kind of combo of less steep Rokudantobi + grabbing onto something that carries you to the other side? I did guess like a Bridge Jump rope but then I noticed that track was missing maybe. Anyone else notice that you can see the back of one of the steps in the frame pic and Obstacle 1 is definitely a combo obstacle?

Rokudantobi + Grabbing something to take you to the other side sounds like the Circle Twist from Sasuke 47-57.
Seeing as lately i've been using a lot of modified shin sasuke obtacles, it'd sure be funny if any of them magically appear at 26.

Seeing as lately i've been using a lot of modified shin sasuke obtacles, it'd sure be funny if any of them magically appear at 26. Well Cannonball Attack/Domino Rally merged with the 23 Navi thing to become the Bridge Jump.. Your "Ring Toss" from Super Sasuke may have inspired the 25 placement of the Circle Slider. And I've never seen an Stage 1 obstacle with framework like that 2nd (or third? I don't know if the now confirmed combo obstacle is counted as 1 or 2) have a ending platform higher than the beginning platform and the only other time I've seen that is the rope swing thing you have on your current course. (And while I kind of doubt it's a Rope Swing it may be within the realm of possibility, If I remember correctly wasn't someone from TBS at ANW2 to get footage because Nagano, Yuuji and Okuyama were there?)

Just found in Lee's blog, he said that stage 1 has THREE new obstacles. Im guessing the first obstacle (combo thing) and second obstacle is new (balance thing). The third new obstacle im guessing is after the SK? Replacing Circle Slider? Hmmm, i wonder what it is. But whatever it is, I think that it is harder than any obstacle they ever put at that spot (Flying chute, slider jump, circle slider)

The first obstacle is the combo, second is the swing looking thing, and third has a giant drop between the platforms. I think we can safely assume that the rest are either SASUKE 25 obstacles, or returning obstacles. That would mean the WW is the 6th obstacle (no surprise) and either the Circle Slider or something old like the Slider Jump is there (also notice how the obstacles are in a straight line with the JS).

I see them. Anyway the carpet looks red. I'd laugh if they painted the HPA red instead of flamed or brown.
