Well, it seems like we haven't done the obligatory "rank the Shin-SASUKE tournaments in terms of overall awesomeness" thread after each tournament, and since the Shin-SASUKE era is done and over with, I'm making one now. Vote for your favorite tournament in the poll, and rank the tournaments from best to worst in a post.

Its a 3 way tie for me. 19-23-24: 23 is getting old for me, and 24 is hard to watch the first 1 1/2. But 19 is quck, fast and doesn't get bored. Honorable mention is 18.

23 was the perfect tourney. On the other hand 20 was a disaster
It'd probably be

Right now because of all the excitement, 24. Overtime? Yeah, it'll be 19.

Wow, more people liked 23 than I expected, I thought everyone would put 24. I agree, 23 was just a perfect tourney.

Quick explaination here: 18: Everybody liked the renewal, addition of tough obstacles like the Salmon Ladder and SCH(joke in 24). 19: Koji's return, shocking stage 2 ending. 20: Actually 20 is not bad. Plenty of new stars (Levi, Okuyama, Kanno) and shocking in 19. 21: SCH finally beaten 22: Final stage is confirmed, rise of new stars(Yuuji) 23: All stars pay back, Shingo cleared stage 1 24: 3rd stage became a playground, Yuuji won, VERY shocking (Nagano, Omori,Yuuji) So for me its 24 23 V 21 V V 22 V 19 V V 20 V V V V V V 18

Still haven't seen all of 24, but nevertheless... 23>19>24>18>22>21>20 As Badalight said, 23 was virtually a perfect tourney, not to mention that it the first TBS one that I saw. 19 can IMO be described in one word: shock. I doubt that anyone expected such surprising results. 24 had a Kanzenseiha, but rather odd results (all of the All-Stars except Takeda fail Stage 1; 5 Stage 3 clears with no SCH fails; etc.) 18 began Shin-Sasuke and showed us how evil the course's creators can be. Overall, a neat one to watch and not that bad results (though it would've been nicer to see one of the 3 who made it to Stage 3 clear the SCH ). 22 was the rise of relatively new competitors who have shown that they may become big names in Sasuke in the future. Also, it was great that we FINALLY got to see the new Final Stage. 21 had results that were average as compared to pre-Shin-Sasuke tournaments in general, though it was cool to finally see the obstacles past the SCH attempted at last in competition---and by none other than Takeda and Nagano. 20 could've been better. After all, it only had one more Stage 1 clear than the previous tournament yet way less drama than it as well. Despite this, at least we had the chance to see an American go the farthest and save the competition from ending on Stage 2 twice in a row. Wow, I just noticed that I have the exact same order as BLM. That's pretty weird.

Also, it is interesting to note that 23 and 19 are probably the two best edited broadcast where the action and flow of the tournament was non-stop. So besides results, TBS has something to do with it as well.

I just think that 18 had a lot of excitement with the new course re-design and all. It's going to be like that for 25 as well- everyobe wil be stoked to see the new course and I can't wait to see the competitors' reactions. Priceless...

Giving reasons for the top 3, when I'll have time I'll explain the others.
23- my first live broadcast. Okuyama, Lee & Kenji doing good (poor Lee tho), the STQers passing first stage (even if they got pwned on the Salmon LAdder), Kanno.the All Stars revenge, the Nagano Slider Jump drama and him getting his revenge and nearly achieving Kansenseiha. The sense of hope it let in my heart after ending. "The All Stars are still strong...the next time they will make it..." Even though we know what happened in 24. 18- same reasons as the others. Nagano coming in back as reigning champion and going all the way to the bugged SCH despite the renewal. 21- All Stars doing good, but the I cursed the Gringin Ring so much I bet someone in Japan heard me. 24 20 22 19

If the course stayed the same in 24, that would be the top.
