Probably---it seems that their focus on Japanese-oriented game shows has turned entirely towards Sasuke/Ninja Warrior and promoting its new competitions. I know, it's a shame---even if I rarely even watch Unbeatable Banzuke anymore.

God I hate G4.
No. They won't. I've been a G4 fan for a long time now, and if it doesn't get ratings, it aint coming back. So I'm 99.9% sure it wont.

Do they still even show Duty Free TV? Or is it gone? Last time I remember that's where they showed Banzuke... So G4 hasn't shown new episodes yet? If so, WTF

Banzuke gets 1 episode most Tuesdays and Thursdays and a mini-marathon (usually 3 or 4 but sometimes 6) on Saturday or Sunday. The are airing it a bit more than they were + they are airing rarer season 1 episodes. The thing is, if they don't get good ratings with the reruns, they won't produce a third season. If they do get good ratings with the reruns, G4 won't see the need to make any more. Neal Tiles needs to be sent down the Downhill Jump with both his arms and legs bound...

Drop him from the tower - into a pit of fire. Burn in hell, Tiles. You killed G4.
Back to the question on hand, no, they won't air another season of Banzuke.
Which brings me back to the statement, "Burn in hell, Tiles."

Neal Tiles needs to be sent down the Downhill Jump with both his arms and legs bound... For some reason I picture him smiling when he goes down, like the picture on G4Fan's sig. Seems such a shame too since I never watched Banzuke that much but still was a good show to watch on a Saturday afternoon, when nothing else is on.

Banzuke got low ratings because they kept showing repeats with little new episodes to keep it fresh. That's what's wrong with this channel, too much demand not enough supply, that and they feel shows about some insignificant online poker players is quality television.

And plus, they think they're Spike TV somehow....at least for the last 3 years it's been that way.

Yeah, for both season 1 and season 2, they aired every episode they had within the first 5 or 6 weeks of the season. So, for like a year, there was nothing but repeats. Had they aired 1 new episode per week like every other tv show on the planet, they could have had two legitamite 30 + week seasons.

Didn't they have like.. 7 years or so of footage to work with? And G4 used how much of that?

I'm 100% positive they spliced SO much footage they used so many good performances it would be inconsistant versions with little progress from competitors.

There is probably 10 times more footage of the target events than of the indoor ones. They haven't aired all the indoor events yet though. I believe they finished the entire Like a Pierrot sequence, but there is still Neko de Drive 2, Hand Walk 4 , Super Rider 4 and 5 etc.

And it doesn't seem like they will. Too bad - and one thing I really wanted to see was Akiyama's performances in Quick Muscle.
