Only once (SASUKE 10) has Nagano not made it to the final stage via an obstacle he attempted for the third or more time. So theoretically, unless he screws up at the Unstable Bridge or a new First/Second/Third Stage obstacle trips him up he will make it to the final.

I don't know which part you're referring to but either way it makes no sense. Part 1- SASUKE 14 he failed the Jumping Bars. (1st time) SASUKE 16 he failed the Devil Swing (1st time) SASUKE 17 he earned kanzenseiha. SASUKE 21 he failed the Grinding Ring (1st time) Part 2- He's already beaten all those obstacles twice, minus the Grinding Ring

Grinding Ring- that's great!
But seriously, how often can Nagano get screwed over? Misses the button by a mere 0.2 seconds in #12, then the DQ on the shin-CH in #18, then the Grinding Ring fiasco in #21, and then had to do 2 first-stage runs in #23 due to yet another equipment malfunction, and then then just misses out on the final stage as 5 seconds were taken off from #22. All things considered, he's pretty upbeat about it all. Class act...

Well, IMHO that is one of Nagano's best traits. Nagano trains hard, do his best but does not take Sasuke TOO seriously. It is not life & death after all. It is about haviing fun, challenging yourself & cheering on for others. Actually, Nagano along with the All-Stars & others like Shinji, Okuyama, Kongu, Lee & many other displays a great trait called "sportsmanship" that was common in the days of amateur sports, but sadly lacking in modern professional sports where trash-talking, cheating & sabotaging are not rare. It is also common to see pro-sportsmen sulking after defeat & show overt agressive hatred of rivals along with their over-sized egos.
Sportsmanship behaviour is the best thing in sasuke. Best of all, the game's best player - Nagano, is the epitome of "sportsmanship".

Speaking of: I was looking at the G4 videos and ran into this: g4tv.com/videos/35831/Ninja-Challenge-3-BTS-Sasuke-Producer/FF to the end where it talks about Nagano being cheated by the course (in Sasuke 21 - Grinding Ring). For some odd reason I never saw this video.. but it was showing Higuchi lamenting having the Grinding Ring cheat Nagano though Nagano didn't think so (which is what I knew he would say actually.. LOL he's just that type of person).

There are so many reasons why we all love SASUKE, but the sportmanship and camaraderie showed by the participants should serve as a model to all other sports and athletic competitions. I'm a big soccer fan, but I really get turned off by amm the diving, cheating, play-acting, and $$$$$ thrown around. SASUKE is none of that!
And yes....Nagano will shove that 40 second time limit down their throats in #24...I hope

hmm watched the video. I liked it, even though the Meewenberg commercial made me freak out. And...did they actually say Takeda, Nagano &co had "beginner's luck?" After all, I think I like Higuchi. It was the first time I saw him. Feels a bit scary, tho, thinking that man's the mind behind all this...

Higuchi is a cool guy! Sasuke fans must thank him & his team for bringing us such a great show! lars072, i have been a soccer ( it should be called football, my dear Americans. ) fan since 1982. I passionately loved the game! However the days of sportsmanship & fair toughness are sadly fading. . What saddens me is kids & teens diving in friendly games ( not even competitive ones ). I remembered the time when none of my peers even imagined doing it. All the diving, play-acting would be considered sissy in the past. I am getting old & nostalgic. It is not just "soccer" but also many other pro sports too. But before i get blasted by the moderators, let me get back to Sasuke. It is a Sasuke forum after all.

/sigh.. yes please don't count your chickens. Quite frankly we were doing well for 2 week and no one went into wild goose chases and I even said I'm proud of the kids in the forums because they have been really good.. now it seems an official commercial and not some obscure blog comes up and everyone looses their marbles.. Please for the love of everything holy calm down. Have your kittens if he wins.. TBS has been guaranteeing his win for 3 straight tournaments...

TBS has pretty much given him the title again although how you predict something so unpredictable is beyond me. But let's wait and see...you never know. Maybe Mr. SASUKE will achieve kanzenheiha and not Nagano... ;D Sorry coulnd't resist!

bada I don't KNOW if he is the winner but I reckon he is, be real who else can anyone honestly see beating stage 4? Takeda is a unknown quantity on it but I've seen hes slower than Nagano on some of these festival courses on rope climbing.

It doesn't matter, this thread doesn't have spoilers in the title thus you shouldn't be freely talking about spoilers without spoiler tags. It didn't matter if he's the one who achieved kazenseiha, it's the fact that you said someone does.

That is absolutly 99,999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% Nagano in the Navi trailer who has won it. The van screen gives it away.
