Oh I see, I remember now, I still can't picture what he looks like, face anyway. Has he been on Sasuke? I know Yamato, ryo, and yuuji all have. And Keita hasn't. Yeah I forget which one but it's an earlier one.. quite honestly I don't know much about him before I started doing Sasuke Trial blogs and even then since he didn't get far recently I don't know the exact details.

They showed him on G4 too, the last guy to go in episode 1 out of the 3 from Sasuke 19. (I think they showed him right after Brett made his attempt.)

The World Cup competition on the 11th and 12th will be held in Germany (ドイツ). Berlin? Or was that just for Track and Field? Odd years are WC years for most sports, aren't they?

Not that I'm aware of. I thought it was the even years (I know the World Cup, as in soccer/football, takes place in 2010 and then in 2014, 2018, etc.), but I could be mistaken.
So no word on anyone else at this point?

Is this guy going? He has a lot about SASUKE recently: ameblo.jp/cw-go/entry-10335470574.htmlHe's training on Mr. SASUKE's course, so if he is competing that means he fail spectacularly on the Jumping Spider.

Note the three dates. 9/14 is the filming date (he is one of the first public sources of the filming date). He has 9/27 or 10/4 (the following Sunday) as the airdate with NAVI being the same day. I assume that 10/4 is if something important enough happens that they can't air on the 27th. It really depends on when he got his information: when he first learned he was on it's possible that they weren't sure). All the TV schedules have it listed as the 27th so that's what I'm sticking with unless otherwise noted. NOTE: HE DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE SHOWING THE SHOW TWICE. Edited to add: Whoops, I should have pointed out his name. He's Go Yokoyama, a K-1 fighter. www.k-1.co.jp/jp/fighter/player.php?index=go_yokoyama

He looks a bit like Kanno, let's hope he gets far. I hate seeing people train under all-stars then failing early on. But come on, wouldn't it be cool to see Yamada pass stage 1? Honestly? Anyone... (only yamada fan in the house)

I want him to make it, even if I don't like him very much. I don't hate him.
I definitely want to see Keita Tomino in, and I'm so happy to know that Lee will be there.

I do want him to make it.
I think his training actually hurts him. My belief is that if you choose to make a obstacle replica, you better make it pretty near identical to the real thing. Yamada's Jumping Doesn't look like a good replica.
I think what happens in competiton is that he expects the landing and texture of the wall to be the same as his replica and then when it isn't, he can't correct himself in time.
Did any of that make sense?

It did indeed. I've always thought of Yamada's Jumping Spider failures as mostly mental, but the curved wall and the texture could definitely play a part in it.

Most of them haven't been on the show or have only appeared in the Trials.
Kanou Takaaki was in 20.

These are the guys I found out about that were blogged in a few pages that were connected in some way to UNCLI. Then I found out some were actually in the same Sasuke Maniac episodes I blogged last year (because I had a handle on names and such). Yuuhei, Arashida, Kobayashi and Takaaki were all in last year's trials (the one for 21) that Sasuke Maniac had running al lsummer. So was Mori actually but he was the only one in the group to have actually competed in the past in Sasuke. All minor obviously but since I was making a training blog I figured it would be cool to include them all.
