I know we've had questions about this before, in older threads especially, but how much longer will Sasuke last, 22 tournaments(i'll include 22/spoilers so people can make reference to it if they like) in 13 years which is a long time for something to be going on. Ratings went up for this tournament but in recent history(Shin Sasuke Era) they have been way down. So on that note how much longer will this ultimate obstacle course last, with many of monster's 9's shows in the toliet (Viking, possibly Kunoichi, etc.)

sasuke 22, in my opinion, is a turning point in sasuke. There were new obstacles for the first time in three tournaments, there was a final stage and a close one at that, a lot of suprises and alot of people getting really far in the course. I think SASUKE will be around for a long time

I'm not sure for a long time but right now TBS is very pleased to win it's time slot. They changed a few things around in terms of airing and even people invited and more importantly THEY CHANGED THE DAY! So they got a lot of things right. Obviously they cannot control the outcome but everything else they can.. like the schedule of airing has worked. Let's see what happens from this point.

I think it could go until the 30th...maybe a couple more after that.
I agree, 22 was full of surprises, including new obstacles, every All-Star failing Stage 1, some (relatively) unknowns and lesser-knowns doing well, and yeah, the new Final Stage, at last! I think 22 will pave the way for some more exciting tournaments.

I guessed 5 to 8 more. I'm hoping it's much more though. Actually I'm hoping it never ends.
Although I hope at least that it goes onto Sasuke 32 and the ANC is still going on for that long so I can end up winning and getting my chance at the course.

I was gonna say Sasuke 32 as well. I too wish it'd never end, but I guess it'll have to sometime, huh?

we've been on the discussion before that nothing lasts forever 32 seems like a good stopping point for me as well, by then i think we'll be on another shin sasuke and that 100 foot final stage will show its face. 32 sounds good, however i think probably about 5-8 remain.

All great things come to an end one day. I could never imagine Nagano as an 80 year old man attempting the course though

The last Sasuke could range from 25-forever.
It all depends on how they focus Sasuke.
I believe the easier the first stage obstacles and the harder the 3rd stage obstacles are, the better the ratings.
Thats my theory...

I agree with you J.P., the producers need to tone down the first stage a little, make the third stage harder, and maybe the second stage too

It wouldn't be shin sasuke unless all the stages were hard, if anything make it harder, u dont take a stage and make it easier Is the first stage to long, yes 102 meters and 2 minutes is kinda ridiculous, but dont make it easier.

I'm hoping it will last much longer than 5-8 more tournaments, but I think it will probably only last around this much longer. Many viewers eventually will probably get tired of watching the show. Unfortunately, it can't go on forever. Hopefully, it will spawn a generation of more challenging obstacle course shows similar to Sasuke, and maybe some of them could even be located in the United States, so I wouldn't have to travel nearly half of the world to get to Japan if I was to ever compete haha.

Yeah but thats the problem. The first stage pretty much gets rid of everyone who isn't a master at parkour. When it should be getting rid of anyone who sucks. If you can do 25 pull ups, and run 2 miles without stopping, you should be-able to beat the 1st stage. Again, I'm just talking about the 1st stage, stage 2 can be impossible for all I care.

Kinniku Banzuke, Sasuke's predecessor lasted for 7 years and never lost popularity. If it weren't for the accident, it is possible that it could still be running now (Hand Walk 7 anyone...) The fact that it's only a special and that ratings have never been very low tells me that there is no reason to stop soon. Of course, time will tell.

btw.. before I have another aneurysm.. "Longevity".. one word K.. got that out of my system Well lasting 22 tournaments Sasuke has had some good jevity! XD But I was trying not to correct that too. I wasn't going to try because I don't know the right spelling either, but I definitely know that is wrong. BTW, Just because your jevity is long doesn't mean we want to hear about it. They're called Privates for a reason!

I think once Complete Domination is achieved, it'll end. Then Monster 9 will start something new, call it something else, have it be Sasuke-esk tho, and yeh.

Viewers might never get tired of Sasuke. It only comes on every 6 months and there's almost always one new obstacle. It's not like it comes on every friday or someting, its special
