Well I'd dislocate my shoulder if I tried it. I don't really remember, bit I had that thought and decided it was a no go when I got there. Well... If someone who has dislocated their shoulder in the past has a risk of re-injuring it trying to jump for it... Forget I asked then XD

I think the momentum of the backswing after landing on it would knock the bar off too. So overall just not a good idea lol. Did they say why they didn't use the floating boards at all in boot camp? I think it was the only one not used in the relay (correct me if I'm wrong though).

They all were sets of two obstacles (3 in the case of the Double Salmon Ladder + Circle Slider thing but that was two areas technically ), But they didn't end up using the Floating Board for any challenges (Broadcast at least)

No you're right, it wasn't used in the relay. Personally I feel that it was because it would have just taken too long. Some penalty-ridden times were well in the 2 minute mark when finished. Failing that? Just red font times everywhere.

We did do the floating boards on the final day, I'm guessing they cut it out because it wasn't that exciting to watch and took a lot of time. And in the end they didn't affect the outcome. It was nice to get to practice on them though!

Had I only tested it like you David! Only one other person made it to the tramp before me so I just assumed it was going to feel like the others. Sadly I was mistaken haha. Really hope they change that out at ANW 3

Salmon Ladder was way too far and high from the platforms. I was confused about that until I saw they brought out a trampoline. Then I was just disappointed because it was so lame.

It was nice to get to practice on them though! Ooh I see. Yeah that makes sense. So they did three obstacles instead of two the last day? I was thinking it went down like this: G4 - "Ok, great the floating boards are set up." TBS - "Uhh, that's not being used anymore..." G4 - "Crap. Well, they look nice... lets just keep them there."
